We have compiled answers to your questions related to course materials, technology, and other services at the Auburn University Bookstore during this time.


Is the store open?

The Auburn University Bookstore will be closed to the public during Auburn University’s operational modification, but online orders are being fulfilled.

 

I rented a textbook. How do I return it?

Each student who rented textbooks during the Spring 2020 semester has been provided a Fed Ex return label via email. Students may ship these books back using the return label. A dropbox will also be available at the concourse entrance of the store beginning May 1. Students should label each book with their name and Auburn email address before dropping them in the dropbox.

 

Can I sell back my textbooks?

The Bookstore has partnered with ValoreBooks for online buyback this semester. Please visit aubookstore.valorebooks.com for instructions on how to sell your textbooks back this semester.

 

What course materials will I need for my remote delivery class?

Your instructor will decide which course materials you need for your remote classes.

 

I left my textbooks in my residence hall. What do I do?

I do not have access to my course materials. What do I do?

VitalSource, one of our digital course materials services platforms, has teamed up with several leading publishers to launch VitalSource Helps, a program offering access to many e-books absolutely free to those who have lost access to course materials during the transition to remote learning. Visit bookshelf.vitalsource.com and use your auburn.edu email address to log in or create an account. Before you get started, we encourage you to review this student FAQ. My instructor is using course materials that I chose not to purchase at the beginning of the semester. Can I still purchase them?

We have a limited number of Spring 2020 titles left. These can be ordered at aubookstore.com and will be processed and shipped as long as the store is operational. We recommend digital options when available, both for immediate access to content and from a cost-savings perspective.


Do I still need to order my cap and gown?

Auburn University has decided to combine spring and summer commencement ceremonies on Aug. 8-9.

Auburn University will ship keepsake regalia to each graduate.

If you plan to return to Auburn to participate, and you have already placed your cap and gown order, check your email for a link to submit a shipping address for your regalia if you haven’t already done so.

The deadline to order regalia is Monday, June 1, at midnight CT.


I left my device with the technology desk for repair. Can I pick it up?
