Fall 2020 Textbook Ordering Click Here In response to the evolving situation regarding COVID-19, the Auburn University Bookstore is partnering with Barnes & Noble Collegiate Services to fulfill textbook purchases and rentals for the Fall 2020 Semester. We have entered into this partnership to guarantee that students will have access to course materials no matter how the situation may develop this fall or where students are located.


Students are strongly encouraged to order textbooks as early as possible.  Books will take 2-3 days to ship to your address once the order is processed. Please provide the address (home, campus, apartment) to the location you want the books shipped.  Textbooks will not be available in the Bookstore and must be ordered online.

Textbook Ordering FAQs


  • My course and section number are not listed, but my professor is requiring a title. What does this mean? 
    • BNC Services is currently working to acquire the title. Please check back. It will be added as soon as stock is available.
  • My books are covered under a contract billing program (Adult Vocational Rehabilitation, Alabama GI Dependent Scholarship, Veterans Affairs, Poarch Band of Creek Indians, Police Officers and Fire Fighters, East Alabama Medical Center).Do I still need to order online?
    • No. The Auburn University Bookstore will coordinate with BNC Services to obtain your textbooks. You will be notified when they are available for pickup at the Bookstore.
  • I’m having trouble navigating the site. I’m having order issues. Who do I contact?
    • Support is available from BNC Services from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. central at 1-800-325-3252.
  • How long will it take to get my course materials after I order?
    • Orders are typically pulled within 24 hours after an order is placed. Standard shipping takes an estimated 2-3 business days to arrive to the customer.
  • I want to return or exchange my course materials. How can I do this?
    • Print textbooks/course materials purchased directly from BNC Virtual must be returned within 2 weeks after class start date or within 21 days of date shipped, whichever is later. However, note that if more than 50% of the term has passed, based on the posted course start and end dates, materials are no longer eligible for return credit. To return print textbooks/course materials purchased directly from BNC Virtual, please log in to your account, go to the Return Center under your orders, select the item(s) you want to return, and generate a pre-paid UPS return label. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your return credit. Items must be returned in their original, unopened condition to be eligible for return.   • What methods of payment are accepted on the BNC Virtual website?
    • Major credit cards (Visa, Discover, American Express, MasterCard), Debit cards backed by Visa or MasterCard, and PayPal
  • I need to use my Tiger Club Account or Auburn University Bookstore gift card to pay for my course materials. What can I do?
    • Contact the Auburn University Bookstore at 334-844-4241 and an associate will help you with your needs.
  • How will I return my rental books at the end of the semester?
    • Returning your rentals is simple, and return shipping is free! To return a rental when you're done for the semester, please follow these steps:
      • Log in to your account and go to the rentals section of your account.
      • Choose the rental(s) you are returning and follow the steps on screen to submit your information.
      • Print the packing slip and free pre-paid shipping label.
      • Securely pack your rental books in a sturdy box with your packing slip. You must use our free pre-paid UPS shipping label.
      • Drop the package at any UPS Location.
