AU Course Materials
We are committed to student success by providing digital and physical course materials at an affordable price.
Course materials are adopted by faculty and are compromised of textbooks, educational software (courseware), and supplemental materials that aid in instructions of a class. Course materials are available in digital or physical formats at the discretion of the instructor.
Digital course material may be accessed from devices like computers, tablets, and other mobile devices.
All Access is the Auburn University Bookstore’s inclusive access program, which provides digital course materials for participating classes and is charged to your e-bill. To learn more about this, please click here. All Access course materials will appear on your booklist with "All Access" clearly denoted in the material's title.
If the course is not in the All Access program, digital course materials may still be available. The Auburn University Bookstore offers digital options for course materials via RedShelf and VitalSource when available. On the course material's item page, you may see options for various durations of accessibility (90 days, 180 days, 365 days) or perpetual access, depending on availability.
Some courses are not in the All Access program. In this case, they might use physical textbooks or digital options as explained above. If we have received adoptions from you instructor, these will appear on your booklist. These titles will not be denoted as All Access materials.
If an adoption is received from the instructor and the course materials are availble to us, we will carry the titles in our store. Students can purchase in-store or on the website for pickup in-store. Delivery is available at additional cost.
Some physical course materials may not be available if an edition is out of print or if items are scarce.
If we sell out of our initial in-store stock, we may be able to obtain additional copies. These titles will appear on our website with an out-of-stock message that indicate they can be backordered. Note that these may take 1-2 weeks to arrive.
Due to publisher agreements and availability, we are unable to acquire physical copies of All Access materials at the bookstore. If students want physical copies, they will need to obtain them at their own discretion from another retailer.
